Project Overview
What began as a storage warehouse for Lion Industries FZ-LLC evolved midway through construction into a fully operational corrugation factory. With the project already underway at IMPZ, Dubai, Khair Al Amal reworked the building around the new operational requirements, managing the necessary design revisions, authority approvals and technical changes while keeping construction on track.
A key part of the conversion was preparing the facility for machinery that had yet to arrive on site. We worked directly with the machine supplier’s team in China to incorporate their installation requirements into the structure and MEP works, while aligning our programme with their equipment delivery schedule.
The project was delivered as a complete turnkey facility, including the integrated office fit-out, and handed over within 10 months. Despite the significant change in scope, the factory was ready for the next stage of installation and operations when Lion Industries needed it to be.
